Had a lovely, relaxing, calm, soothing, pampered weekend. The people are so friendly – the staff at the Healing Waters Spa were excellent – some of the best massages I’ve ever had. Highly recommend for a get away! — Paula F.
My husband and I enjoyed an anniversary trip there. It was wonderful!!! While the GLM (Good Looking Man) I’m married to went and shot trap with his buddies I enjoyed the services of your spa and had an AWESOME massage. Hanging out in the teepees was so fun. Thanks! — Rene P.
We really enjoy each and every stay. It’s a time for Becky and I to get together in a special way. My feet are always much better. I fact we need to go soon…….. We are really glad to see the BIG improvements over the past few years. And, we always recommend Saratoga Resort and Spa all our friends. — Dana C.
This place is just very special! Enjoyed every moment of the visit! Love this place! Can’t wait to come again when we get the chance… you are so good to everyone that comes here. Excellent place! Good job! — Lynne S.
Awesome place! The food is good, service is great, but the Micro Brewery is the best ever. Perfect old west style decor and the fire is always a welcome sight. We return almost every month. — Cary C.
Took my daughter on a quick weekend trip. Lodge was perfect, liked the room; it had a nice feel to it. It is rustic but that’s why you go to Wyoming. It had everything we needed. We had a room across from the hot springs pools. Although it was a pretty cold day, we enjoyed walking over in our bathrobes ($5 bucks extra , but well worth it) to soak in the different temperature tubs , liked the teepee setting. Food was good, nice little Micro Brewery Tavern/Bar is part of the lodge. Enjoyed the Western Art and artifacts.
Drive to get there was beautiful; we took the route along the Cache La Poudre, over Cameron Pass which was very scenic. Front desk Manager was extremely helpful getting us directions for a scenic drive over the Snowy Range to Fort Collins. Part of the way wasn’t even a real road. Loved it.
Note: we were there out of Season, so could not play golf, ride bikes, etc. Loved the calm, saw lots of wild life (antelopes) — Elli B.
We have stayed at the Saratoga several times over the years. Our stay, albeit brief, was delightful. Our room, one of the refurbished ones, was cozy, clean and appropriately appointed. We both had massages at the spa which is a tradition for us—wonderful. We had a great pizza, beer brewed there, and great wine for dinner in the brew pub. The service was attentive but not hurried. We will continue to visit the Saratoga every year they can get us in. It remains a little oasis in Wyoming. — “Taterdog”
This place not only had exceptional service, but the food was great, the people were extremely friendly, the hot springs were fantastic. And, the hotel rooms were very nice as well. It is a bit far from the next largest city (Fort Collins being the closest), but it is WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. They have many microbrews on tap/available.
I would highly recommend making the trip to this resort. Also: the hot springs didn’t stink like sulfur, which was REALLY nice. — Julia M.
My wife and I have made this an annual anniversary destination. We are both working during our anniversary (October) and just look for a nice long weekend getaway. The bar is fun and has some great microbrews, and the natural hot springs in the courtyard are great. There is also some amazing fly fishing within walking distance (across a parking lot) and some world class fishing very close by. The rooms are comfortable and functional, but I will always opt for the “deluxe” version or a suite because the updates are worth the extra $. It is a mountain resort, and that means you are roughing it a tiny bit…relax, that’s part of the charm. The spa part is nice, I don’t partake myself, but the wife always gets a message (or something) and raves about it.
Overall, we love the place. Granted we have kind have made it “our place”, and that counts for something. I gladly pay for the small size and extra privacy a small mountain resort provides. It’s rare that I don’t wake up to deer or pronghorn grazing outside my window. And, if you like beer, the on site brewed Scotch Ale is phenomenal.
Give it a try and enjoy the experience. It is worth a visit. — Craig A.
