Highly Recommended – The western ambiance and decor was delightful but our real focus was the hot pools. The temperature of the large family pool was just right and heated by waters from the hot springs. There were six additional pools for adults only that were covered by tepees and the temperature of the water under each tepee was at varying degrees of hotness. We were in heaven and in the pools for hours. These pools have no added chemicals and are just as nature made them. When we first entered the large pool, it looked like someone had mowed the lawn and shot grass clippings into the pool. I quickly realized that it was a natural occurrence from the hot springs and not removed by chemicals or filtering. It was an easy adjustment and a pleasure to enjoy these pools without worrying about heavy chemical additions.
Room Tip: Ask for pool side room.– Rae from Venice, FL
Absolutely Amazing! – This was my first time in Wyoming and this resort did not disappoint. The hot springs were absolutely amazing and the people were some of the friendliest I’ve ever come across. I’ll definitely come back. Also in the restaurant Shawna was our breakfast server and her sense of humor had us laughing the whole time. Of course the service was outstanding as well.

Peaceful, Relaxing, Beautiful – We stayed here in the middle of a cross country trip that was really harrowing with bad weather, changes in plans, and other small calamities. Our 30 hours at Saratoga Hot Springs made it all better! Not just “taking the waters,” but lovely people, delicious food, comfortable and clean rooms. I will definitely come back, and I have already recommended it to friends.

Pleasant Surprise Off of Rt 80 – We were looking for something a little more special than the routine hotel on our travel across Rt. 80. A travel guide at the Lincoln Statue, suggested Saratoga Springs Resort. The trip over the mountain from Laramie was gorgeous. Keep in mind that the roads leading to the resort from town are a little sketchy, the neighborhood does not look like a resort was nearby.
When we arrived, the young woman at the desk was nice, but a little voice from the back office was even nicer. She told her to give us an upgrade since it was our first time at the resort. We loved the rustic quality of the room, but some of the bathroom conveniences could be updated. The pools were great, but only the large pool and the medium soak were bearable. Sooooo hot, be careful. We did not have dinner in the hotel, but were recommended to Bella in town, worth the little drive!
Worth the stay if you are going through the area, and want a nice relaxing mineral soak and a quiet night of comfy sleep. Room Tip: We liked the room across from the pool area, very convenient!

Great Hot Springs – Did a “girls trip” with mom to the Saratoga Hot Springs for some relaxation and mineral water soaking. The drive from Northern Colorado was beautiful, especially in Wyoming from Laramie to Saratoga. Be sure to print off directions or have them downloaded to a device as you will NOT have any kind of cell service a good portion of the drive and it is kind of strange how you end up coming through town to the resort.
Really enjoyed the rustic feel of the resort; there are some really nice touches in the lodge area where there is a game room, brewery, restaurants, and check in desk. I thought the double queen bed room we had was nice too, but definitely agree with other reviewers that the bathroom could use an update.
The springs themselves were amazing; the water felt so nice and didn’t have a sulfur smell that I usually associate with hot springs – very nice!!! I think the teepees are a great touch on the smaller pools; I really enjoyed the sense of privacy, while still having the ability to cool down in the larger “public” pool. Definitely be sure to check the digital temperature reading on the pools… Since they are natural springs, the temperature varies greatly from pool to pool.
Ate at both restaurants, and while they weren’t knock your socks off amazing, I did think the food was good and reasonably priced. We didn’t use them, but both the spa and gym look newer than the rest of the resort and very nicely maintained.
This is a great overnight spot for a soak and good night’s sleep, because it’s such a charming place with great hot springs and and a friendly staff. However, I think to justify the pricing for an extended stay management would need to make some updates to bathrooms, landscaping, etc. The other reviewers have this right… A few tweaks and this place would be 100% resort quality and I think there would be a less push back on pricing.

Awesome place! Cheap drinks, awesome hot springs and walking distance to downtown Saratoga, and river fishing. Will be returning again and would suggest to all my friends.
