Take advantage of abundant fresh, seasonal produce this summer when it’s at its most delicious and nutritious.
When summer recipes include fresh and delicious produce, it’s easy to fill your diet with low-calorie, antioxidant-rich fruits, vegetables and herbs.
A summer favorite are smoothies. The fact that smoothies are quick, nutritious and portable are some of the reasons for their popularity as an alternative to soda or milkshakes. There are an unlimited number of possibilities when it comes to creating the perfect combination of ingredients. It all comes down to what your favorite fruits are.
I will share one of my favorite smoothie recipes, which includes fresh strawberries, blueberries, cherries and bananas.
