Saratoga, Wyoming (January 5th, 2014) – The Saratoga Resort and Spa is proud to announce Scott Randall as the new general manager of the resort property, health spa, golf course, multiple restaurants and the on-premise microbrewery, Snowy Mountain Brewery. International Resort Properties is unifying their commitment to the Wyoming Resort, their staff, and the community of Saratoga with the recruiting of Mr. Randall as the new General Manager. Randall has been the general manager at a 100 year-old, privately owned luxury resort in central Montana. Prior to his stay in Montana, he was the director of activities and marketing for a unique resort in Utah. Randall brings a wide range of hands-on experience and confidence to the Saratoga Resort and Spa.
As an experienced and professional hospitality manager, Randall is an educator in team building and has achieved many certifications. Those achievements include swift water rescue, scuba dive rescue, first aid & CPR training, and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). He is also a multi-sport instructor and trainer. He’s excited to move to a great town with his family and expand an already growing resort.
International Resort Properties (IRP) purchased Saratoga Resort and Spa in 2008 and it has seen many positive changes for their guests and the community. Speaking on behalf of IRP, Dr. Michael Janssen comments, “This historic Wyoming tourist destination has been attracting people to Saratoga since the 50’s. My wife and I have great aspirations for the resort, appealing to guests of all four seasons that this historic town has to offer. We are extremely pleased to have recruited Scott to join us to make our vision of the Saratoga Resort and Spa a reality. He draws on his life-long experiences of the outdoors, management, success in the hospitality industry and his fondness for working with people. We are particularly excited with Scott’s arrival, because we are sure he has the credentials to help us build the Saratoga Resort and Spa into a leading recreational center in Wyoming”.
Randall, excited about the opportunity, comments, “I have steered my career path down the road of hospitality and it has crossed over with my love for recreational activities. My passion is working with people and getting them to excel and do what they do best. I am confident I will be able to leverage my management experiences in my new role at Saratoga Resort and Spa, foster a great team, and provide the best customer service possible”. The experience that Randall brings with him, beyond just operational and financial management, will fit well with the resort’s current offerings and strengths. Not only does the resort have the opportunity to benefit from his experience, but the tight community of Saratoga may as well. “I know how important the service industry is to small communities and being a good steward to the town,” states Randall. “It is evident that Saratoga is a recreational community, and I look to forward to those experiences. While sports and recreation is very important to a town, so are its core services. I’ve been a Sheriff’s deputy, firefighter, medical emergency responder and avid outdoorsman, and I feel it’s important to have the skills to help others.”
The Saratoga Resort and Spa is nestled between the Snowy Mountain Range and the Sierra Madre’s Range in Saratoga. It is one of Wyoming’s primary recreational resorts, with its own hot mineral spring pools, a fully equipped spa, golf course, fitness center, multiple restaurants, and an on-premise craft microbrewery. The Saratoga Resort and Spa also boasts world-class snowmobiling, blue ribbon fishing, and its on-premise brewery that has earned a number of quality awards.
