There are many places in the Saratoga area where the whole family can observe wild birds in their natural habitat! The North Platte River is one of the best places to see a variety of species and this even includes bald eagles. This 716-mile river flows through our resort and draws many different species of wild birds! Another place to bird watch is the wetlands at Saratoga Lake. Here you may see great blue herons, pelicans, ibis, and many more bird species.
Everyone can enjoy kayaking on the lake all while seeing beautiful birds fly gracefully through the air. With many mountains around, Saratoga is home to a wide variety of beautiful birds and there is nothing better than taking a hike with spectacular mountain views, as well as beautiful views of wildlife. There are many hotspots for bird watching and you may be able to see many wildlife you normally wouldn’t at home. Bird watching is something the whole family can enjoy!
